Fantasy laser sword
The files are made with extra attention to detail and 3d printability in mind, so its a fairly simple print and assembly. Check out the photos to see what's included.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
the build is super simple - just take the electronics from your light saber hilt and put it into this one and thats it :)
the walls are a bit thicker so the blade itself can be locked in place without worrying that something gonna break.
I printed it in PLA and that thing is stroooong :D i was swinging arround with the saber for 2 days now and i might even go as far to mention you might be able to duel with it, but at your own discretion ofc :)
So there are 3 options:
1 - uses the blade and has the extra detail (the blade guards)
2 - uses blade and is without the guards ( thats my favourite and the one i printed so yu can see it in he photos)
3 - broken blade - something that was on my mind for a while so just had to make it. broken blade. totally unrealistic, most likely impossible to make in any sci fi scenario, but thats why i thought it would look cool :)
I'll try to put toegether a little video of all of it , oh and also - the interior diameter has a bit more space so you can add other electronics (smoothswing and such) to it if you like ;)
All of it fits together with screws and nuts, only few items are glued together but you can remove/add the blade and access electronics at any pointÂ
