MM space soldier helmet
I stumbled across a âconceptâ,turns out it was just an AI image. But by that time, I was already halfway in, so I thought: why not finish it, add my own twist, and wrap it up?
So here it is â I present to you the new Helmet.
The original concept had this red/silver-grayish brushed and weathered look. The idea wasnât dents or battle damage, but rather paint that looked scraped and torn away. I tried to replicate that â made a 3D render to give you a reference/template for painting when you build the model.
And since Iâm on a roll with new things, I also included the 2D visor cutout templates so you can test them out on your laser/Cricut cutters or similar machines. This one also comes with a moveable visor â itâs not motorized, but it uses magnets that let the stalk go up and down, similar to my Crosshair solution.
As always, youâll get:
- split versions (2-part and 4-part) with my assembly pin slots
- solid helmet version
- 3MF version (Bambu slicer X1C type machines) with supports, orientation & print info
- a little 360° animation template
- the new visor 2D cutout template
- moveable rangefinder/stalk
